When I was student at business school, I read a lot of books on the strategy of the former Japanese army.
The material to be introduced "The Nakano School: True Image of the Secret Agent (Japanese only)" excavates the Nakano School, which was a secret agent training organization in Japan existed before the World War II.
According to this book, the Nakano School's motto is to "survive whatever happens".
In the prewar Japanese education, most of soldiers were taught to that "fight until your life is over", but the Nakano School emphasized that "survive no matter what happens in the war field".
The Nakano school was teaching something different from the whole military organization at the time.
It must be very challenging for the Nakano school to continue this different education.
It is courageous to do something different from others, but I am surprised that such a secret agent training institution was existing in Japan before 1945.
Let's function PDCA today!
