P.S. 残業が多い職場の場合、懇親会や飲み会なども遅い時間から始まるケースが多くなります。
過去のPDCA日記でもお伝えしましたが、行きたくない飲み会などに行くことほどムダなことはありません。
飲み会に行かないことを続けることで、「飲み会に来ない人」というイメージをつけることができます。
「早く帰る」だけではなく、飲み会に行きたくない人は「飲み会に来ない人」というイメージも作ってしまってはいかがでしょうか :-)。
My first job was in the finance field, but I spent the last 1 year as at Japanese bank due to a merger.
I felt several culture shocks, because employees at that bank were doing “voluntary overtime work” that I had never seen before.
Even so, I have been going home at 5 pm and nobody was complaining to me.
The important thing must be that "Remind others I go home early" and my method worked well although I quit this bank 1 year later :-).
The material to be introduced today “Leveraging Time Skills (Japanese only)” explains “successful principle with no risk / high return” and the following phrases were impressive.
“I was not working overtime since I was a new employee basically.
That was because I knew well that overtime work was meaningless, because I couldn't concentrate.
When I looked the seniors around me, it seemed that there was a lot of waste in the work those who were working until late.” (Unquote)
