P.S. 私がフランスで生活していた頃、スーパーなどで買い物をすると、レジでかなりの時間を待たされることがありました。

< Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「最中(さいちゅう)」 = 「in the middle of」>

今回出てきた「最中」の英訳は、「in the middle of」になります。

「人間は目標に向かっている最中が幸せである」を英語にする場合、「Human beings are happy in the middle of the goal」という感じになりますね :-)。

PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 153 "Happy when we are heading for the goal?"】

I forgot where I heard, but I remember that the phrase “Human beings are happy when they are heading towards the goal”.

My first job was sales of financial products and I was happy in the middle of the goal.

It might sound strange, but when I achieved the goal, what I was feeling drained out by only saying that "Oh, it was over".

The material to be introduced today "Your time should flow more slowly (Japanese only)" explains "60 tips to live without urgency" and the following phrases were impressive.

"I suppose that there was a life that has worked well even though he or she didn't have a decent goal.

Therefore, I feel that we don't have to be obsessed with the goal in life." (Unquote)

Let's function PDCA today!
