私は最初の仕事が、富裕層向けの金融商品販売であったため、「お金持ちの特徴を教えてください」と聞かれることが時折あります。
私にとっての富裕層は、「宝くじを買わない」という特徴があり、それ以外は十人十色だったと記憶しています。
「宝くじを買わない」ことは結構重要であり、「宝くじで大金を当てる確率」は、「私がメジャーリーガーの160キロ以上の速球をホームランする確率」よりも低いため、「お金をどぶに捨てる」行為に他なりません。
今回紹介する資料「お金持ちの教科書」は、「お金持ちの真理」を追究しており、「お金持ちはすべて自分のせいにする」部分の以下フレーズが印象的でした。
「お金持ちになれる人というのは、なかなか人にはできないことを実現しているので、多くの優れた面を持っている。
その中でも特にすごいのが、結果のすべてを自分のせいにできる精神力の強さである。
逆にいうと、このメンタリティさえ身につけることができれば、かなりお金持ちに近づくことができるのだ。
多くの人は、自分が他人のせいにしていることを自覚すらしていない。
他人のせいであるとストレートには言わないものの、実際にはそれを言い訳にしているケースは非常に多いのだ。」（引用終わり）

P.S. 本書が唱えている「多くの人は、自分が他人のせいにしていることを自覚すらしていない」という部分は、中々的を得ていると感じています。
ビジネスがチャレンジに直面すると、経営者の多くは、「景気が悪い」「政府が悪い」などと「他人のせいにする症候群」にかかりやすくなります。
挙句の果てには、「顧客が悪い」と言い出す社長までいます。
自ら結果責任を負う覚悟がなければ、長期間に渡ってビジネスを継続することは、かなりチャレンジングになります。
「金持ちは自分のせいにする」という原則でビジネスを行うことで、個人も法人も潤う（？）ようになるのかもしれませんね :-)。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「他人のせいにする」 = 「blame others」＞
今回出てきた「他人のせいにする」の英訳は、「blame others」となります。
「他人のせいにしない方がよい」と表現する場合、「You had better not blame others」と言えば、伝わりますね :-)。

The material to be introduced today “Textbook of the Rich (Japanese only)” explains “the truth of the rich” and the following phrases were impressive.
“Those who can be rich have many great aspects, because they realize what most people cannot do.
What is particularly amazing is the strength of the mental power that can be attributed to all of the results.
In other words, if you can get this mentality, you can get quite rich.
Many people are not even aware that they are blaming others, but rich people blame themselves." (Unquote)
