先日のPDCAカフェである方が、「ビジネスが上手くいかず、自信を持てません」と悩んでおられました。
私はこの人に対して、口に出す言葉をポジティブに変えていくことを勧めました。
「ビジネスが上手くいかず、自信を持てません」であれば、「ビジネスがチャレンジングであり、どうすれば自信を持てるか考えています」という感じですね。
「そんなことか！」と思われた方いるかもしれませんが、「言葉を前向きに変える」効果は絶大であり、これを実践するだけで、ビジネスが好転する可能性が高いです。
なぜならば、ビジネスは「他の人に商品やサービスを買ってもらう」ことであり、顧客は前向きに楽しく仕事をしている人と取引をしたいと思っているからです。
今回紹介する資料「「どうせ無理」と思っている君へ」は、「本当の自信の増やしかた」を解説しており、以下のフレーズが印象的でした。
「まずは、簡単なことからやるのです。
それが力になります。蓄積されます。輝きます。
人生は、ちょっとフライングしたほうが前に進みやすい。
できない理由なんて無視して、どんどんどんどん、夢を叶えていけばいいんです。」（引用終わり）

P.S. 本書が唱えている通り、「簡単なことからやる」は科学的にも合理性が確認されており、作業興奮として心理学における調査対象にもなっています。
1日の仕事を始める際、やる気を出すのがチャレンジングな場合、引き出しを整理したり、机の上をふいたりするだけでも作業興奮によって脳にスイッチが入るため、皆様も試してみてください :-)。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「自信」 = 「confidence」＞
今回出てきた「自信」は、「confidence」になります。
「自信を持てば、人生は前向きになるよ」と表現する場合、「By having confidence, life will be positive」とすればよいですね :-)。
One person came to PDCA cafe and mentioned that "My business is not going well and I cannot be confident."
I encouraged this person to change the words in a positive way.
For instance, "My business is not going well" had better be "My business is facing challenges".
You may have thought that it was such a small thing, but the effect of using positive words is tremendous, and it is highly possible that the business will improve just by implementing this method.
You have to do your business with others and people would like to do business with a person who is positive and enjoying his or her job.
The material to be introduced today “To those who think it is impossible (Japanese only)” explains “How to increase your confidence” and the following phrases were impressive.
“First of all, do from simple things.
That would be your power and it would accumulate and shine gradually.
Ignore the reasons you can't do and make your dreams come true by continuing to do simple things." (Unquote)
