PDCAカフェで、「読書をかなりしているが、ビジネスにつながらない」というコメントをされる方がいます。
私が「読書後のアウトプットをしていますか？」と聞くと、「特に何もしていない」という回答がほとんどです。
過去のPDCA日記でもお伝えしていますが、インプットよりもアウトプットの方が重要です。
読書（インプット）をした後、誰かに話したり、ブログに投稿したりしてアウトプットをしなければ、読書の意味は薄れてしまいます。
大学の講義と同じで、一方的に聞いているだけのインプットでは、記憶、記録に残すことは相当チャレンジングです。
今回紹介する資料「読書を仕事につなげる技術」は、「成果は『どう読むか』で9割決まる」をキャッチフレーズにしており、「仕事につながるかは『読んだ後』が勝負」部分の以下フレーズが印象的でした。
「読書で得た知識や感性を仕事に活かそうとした場合、大事なのは『読んだ後』なのです。
さまざまな本から得た知識を貯蔵し、文脈に応じてそれらを組み合わせることで知的成果を生み出すことが求められます。」（引用終わり）

P.S. 読書後のアウトプット方法が分からないという場合、誰かを昼食に誘って読書の感想を伝えるだけでも、立派なアウトプットになります。
できれば、読書家の人を誘うことがお勧めです。
一番良いのは、同じ本を読んで感想を言い合うことです。
自分でまず本を読み、「この本は面白かった」と相手に渡して、少ししてから昼食に誘う作戦が有効でしょう。

＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「貯蔵する」 = 「store」＞
今回出てきた「貯蔵する」の英訳は、「store」になります。
「彼は、本から得た知識を貯蔵している」を英語にすると、「He stores knowledge from books」となりますね :-)。
Some people comment at PDCA Cafe, "I (participant) am reading a lot, but it doesn't connect to business."
When I asked "Do you output after reading?" most of them answered, "I don't do anything."
As reported in the past PDCA diary, output is more important than input.
Therefore, if you do not output after reading, you had better talk to someone or post on a blog.
As with university lectures, if you only listen to one-sided explanations, it is challenging to store it in memory and record.
The material to be introduced today "Skills that link reading to work (Japanese only)" has a catchphrase of "The outcome is determined by how you read 90%" and the following phrases were impressive.
"If you try to use your knowledge and sensibilities gained from reading in your work, what matters is after reading.
It is necessary to store knowledge obtained from various books and combine them according to the context to produce intellectual results." (Unquote)
