過去のPDCA日記でもお伝えしていますが、私が自営を始めた際、自宅をオフィスにしていました。
そのため、生活費分の売上があれば黒字になるという合理主義経営（？）が成立し、1年目からめでたく利益が出ていました。
私は家族がレストラン、広告代理店、古本屋などを経営しており、店舗コストがチャレンジングであることを目の当たりにしてきました。
インターネットの発達により、自宅で仕事をして必要であれば取引先のオフィスに出向くか、カフェで打ち合わせをするという方法で、私のビジネスは何の問題もありませんでした。
今回紹介する資料「無形資産が経済を支配する」は、「資本のない資本主義の正体」をキャッチフレーズにしており、以下フレーズが印象的でした。
「マイクロソフト社の2006年における市場価値は2,500億ドルほどだった。
マイクロソフト社の資産を計上するバランスシートを見たら、総資産は700億ドルほどで、うち600億ドルは現預金や金融資産だ。
工場や設備といった伝統的な資産はたった30億ドル、マイクロソフト社の資産の4%という微々たるもので、時価総額の1%に過ぎない。
つまり伝統的な資産会計によると、マイクロソフト社は現代の奇跡だ。
これは資本なき資本主義なのだ。」（引用終わり）

ヒト、モノ、カネが事業運営に不可欠だった以前とは違い、インターネットの発達によって、ゼロの状況からでも色々なことを始められる時代になりました。
「金がないからできないという人は、どれだけ金があっても何もできない人だ」というのは、阪急東宝グループ（現・阪急阪神東宝グループ）創始者である小林一三氏の名言です。
PDCAカフェでも、「お金がないから新しいことができません」とコメントされた方がいました。
「このPDCA日記はお金をかけずにやっています」が、私の回答です :-)。
そういえば、ユニコーンも名曲「大迷惑」の中でこう言っていますよ。
「お金なんかはちょっとでいいのだ～♪」
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「伝統的な」 = 「traditional」＞
今回出てきた「伝統的な」の英訳は、「traditional」になります。
「伝統的な資産は4%」を英語にする場合、「Traditional assets are 4%」とすればよいですね :-)。

The material introduced today "The Rise of the Intangible Economy" has a catchphrase "Capitalism Without Capital" and the following phrases were impressive.
"Microsoft had a market value of about $ 250 billion in 2006.
Looking at the balance sheet that accounts for Microsoft's assets, the total assets were about $ 70 billion, of which $ 60 billion were cash and financial assets.
Traditional assets such as factories and equipment were only 3 billion, a tiny fraction of 4% of Microsoft's assets, and only 1% of market capitalization.
In other words, according to traditional asset accounting, Microsoft was a modern miracle.
This was capitalism without capital." (Unquote)
