「彼は新しい仕事を始めて若返った」を英語にする場合、「He started a new job and rejuvenated」とすればよいですね :-)。

PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 335 "40% is judged by voice"

There are a lot of fashionable people in the IT industry, and visible appearance is quite important in impression.

It is estimated that human attitudes were judged only by 7% in terms of words, and the remaining 93% will be impressed other than words.

The material to be introduced today "People will be judged by voice (Japanese only)" is explaining that "Human beings are being judged by 38% by voice (tone) and 55% with facial expression".

Changing voice must be challenging, but we can change the way of speaking, so it is important to be aware of correct wording even on weekends :-).

Another interesting point in this book is that "When you want to convey important things by voice, it is more effective to make the surroundings quiet rather than making a loud voice".

When I start a meeting, I stand up to shut down the door of the room, then people will be quiet and at the point of time, I am saying that "Let's get started".

I was surprised that my method is pretty close to the contents of this book :-).

Let's function PDCA today!

P.S. One colleague asked me that "English writing skills can be improved via HUE IR, but are there secret ideas to improve speaking ability?"

I think that using a voice would be key for English speaking ability.

When I lived in New York, I often went to see the movie early in the morning of the weekend.

Unlike Japan, the seat of the movie theater was not decided, so I could choose any seat I wanted.

I sat down on the seat behind the theater and continued the learning method called shadowing which repeats the contents of the movie, and it was a suitable method for me.

Now you can do shadowing anytime, anywhere using YouTube, etc., so you can try it if you are interested :-).
