世界中で、「Black Lives Matter（黒人の命も大切だ）」運動が巻き起こっています。
一方、「All Lives Matter（全ての命が大切だ）」というスローガンを掲げる人もいます。
「All Lives Matter」運動については「人種差別を意図的に矮小化（わいしょうか）している」という意見があり、何が正しいのかよく分からない状態になりつつあります。
今回紹介する資料「この不寛容の時代に」は「ヒトラー『わが闘争』を読む」をキャッチフレーズにしており、以下フレーズが印象的でした。
「PC、ポリティカル・コレクトネス（政治的正しさ）が、実は不寛容になりうるんだよ、と。
ここ、どういうことだと思う？
ある雑誌が、『LGBTの人たちをそんなに保護する必要はないんじゃないか？』という特集を組んだとします。
すると、それはLGBTに対するとんでもない差別だとPCの観点から反発を生む。
しかも、『その雑誌の特集には変なやつが論文を載せていて、「LGBTの裁判を護るなら、痴漢の権利も擁護しろ」などと言っているらしいな。そんな雑誌が存在すること自体、絶対に許されない、すぐにつぶしてしまえ』。
そんな主張をするリベラル派の人がいるとする。
あるいは、そんな主張を掲げる新聞があるとする。
これは両刃の剣だよね。
あるいは、『そんな雑誌は直ちにつぶせ』と言って、実際につぶれたら、同じ人が『検証もしないでつぶすなんて、ふざけている』と言ったりもする。
こういう人たちには、『自分たちは政治的に、PC的に正しい』という基準があって、それに外れるものは全部間違いなんだ、という一種の思い上がりがあるんです。
おれは寛容だけれど、おまえは寛容性がなくてLGBTを差別している。
おれはそんな不寛容なやつは認めないからな。
そんな寛容 = 不寛容の原理主義が働いているわけだね。」（引用終わり）

P.S. 銃社会のアメリカで、リスクを抱えながら治安維持に従事している警察官を擁護する「Blue Lives Matter（警察官の命も大切だ）」運動もあります。
アメリカの警察官の制服が青いことから、「Blue」は「警察官」を意味しています。
色々な考え方がありますが、「Black Lives Matter」については時代によって見解が異なってきます。
「Black Lives Matter」の運動家たちの中には、「行動しないことは差別を助長している」と唱える人もいます。
私はデモを否定しませんが、一番重要なことは選挙に行くことだと思っていますね :-)。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「不寛容な」 = 「intolerant」＞
今回出てきた「不寛容な」の英訳は、「intolerant」になります。
「不寛容の原理主義が働いている」を英語で表現する場合、「Intolerant fundamentalism is working」とすればよいですね :-)。

What's more, 'it seems that a strange guy has published a paper in the special issue of the magazine, saying, 'If you protect the LGBT case, you should also describe the rights of molesters.'
The existence of such a magazine is absolutely unacceptable, so kill it immediately.'
Suppose there is a liberal person who makes such a claim.
Or, suppose there is a newspaper that claims such a claim.
This is a double-edged sword.
Or say, 'Smash such a magazine immediately,' and then, if you do, the same person says, 'It's silly to crush without even verifying.'
There is a kind of conviction that these people have the standard that they are politically and PC-correct, and that anything that is outside of that is wrong.
I am tolerant, but you are not tolerant and discriminate against LGBT.
I don't admit such intolerance.
That kind of tolerance = intolerance fundamentalism is working." (Unquote)
