今回紹介する資料「世界の終りとハードボイルド・ワンダーランド」は、村上春樹氏による名作の一つです。
本書の中で、主人公がポケットの中に入っている硬貨を数える場面が出てきますが、私はここが一番好きですね😊。
視覚を使うことなく、指の感触だけでポケットの中の硬貨を数えることで、脳のトレーニングをしていると今回紹介する資料「世界の終りとハードボイルド・ワンダーランド」の主人公は語っています。
現金大国と呼ばれていた日本でも、最近はクレジットカードの利用が増えています。
キャッシュレス先進国である北欧の国では、貨幣や硬貨を使うことなく生活でき、「現金お断り」の銀行まであるくらいです💰。
今から50年後に生まれてきた人が本書を読んだ際、「硬貨って何だ？」と感じるようになっているのかもしれませんね😊。

P.S. 暗号資産（仮想通貨）取引が、最近になって活発になり始めています。
以前は、日本の家電量販店でビットコイン決済が可能になった時もありました。
ただ、2017年に暗号資産相場が乱高下して、不正流出などの事故が相次いだこともあって、ブームは下火になってしまいました。
2020年後半からビットコインなどの暗号資産価格が上昇を始めたことで、証券会社や資産運用会社などの伝統的な金融機関も暗号資産取引を開始しています。
ビットコインなどの暗号資産が、米ドルやユーロ、日本円などの法定通貨のような形になるか現時点では分かりません。
ただ、ビットコイン経由で決済できる商品やサービスが世界レベルで増えてきています。
ビットコインなどの暗号資産が、通貨としての役割を部分的に果たし始めていることは確かでしょう😊。
通貨の条件として、以下の5つがあるとされています。
1. 発行主体に信頼がある
2. 価値が変動する
3. 総量が規制されている
4. 持ち運び・交換が便利である
5. 経年劣化しない

ビットコインは、上記の内で2、3の条件は満たしていると思われます。
ただ、米ドルや日本円などと比較すると、ビットコインは1、4、5の条件を満たしていない状況です。
この辺りのチャレンジを克服することができえれば、暗号資産が法定通貨に近づくことができるのかもしれませんね😊。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「消滅する」 = 「vanish」＞
今回出てきた「消滅する」を英語にする場合、「vanish」になります。
「硬貨が消滅する日が来る？」を英語にすると、「Will the day when the coins vanish someday?」となりますね😊。
The material introduced today "Hard-Boiled Wonderland And The End Of The World" is one of the masterpieces of written by Mr. Haruki Murakami.
In this book, there is a scene where the main character counts the coins in his pocket, and I like this best :-).
The main character of this material says that he is training his brain by counting coins in pockets with just the touch of a finger without using vision.
Japan used be a cash dominated society, but the use of credit cards has recently increased.
In Scandinavian countries, people are paying with credit cards, and you can live without using cash or coins, and there are some banks that refuse cash.
When people who are born 50 years later might read this book and feel that "What is a coin?"😊.

P.S. Crypto asset (virtual currency) trading has recently begun to become active.
In the past, there were times when Bitcoin payments became possible at consumer electronics mass retailers in Japan as well.
However, the boom has slowed down due to a series of accidents such as fluctuations in the crypto asset market and illegal outflows in 2017.
As the prices of crypto assets such as Bitcoin began to rise in the latter half of 2020, traditional financial institutions such as securities companies and asset management companies have also started trading crypto assets.
It is not known at this time whether crypto assets such as Bitcoin will be shaped like fiat currencies such as the US dollar, euro and Japanese yen.
However, it is certain that the electric cars provided by Tesla can be purchased with Bitcoin, and crypto assets such as Bitcoin are beginning to play a role as currency 😊.
