「これは経営学における常套句である」を英語にすると、「This is a common phrase in business administration」となりますね😊。

PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 940 "Is there just a way to sell?"

When I started my own business in 2016, one of the challenges was to decide whether to set a higher price or a lower price.

I decided to go for a higher price and consequently believe that the strategy was right.

By setting a higher price, I could have a responsibility for my work, and I felt that the customer thought, "Mr. PDCA is expensive, but worth it".

The material introduced today "Don't sell cheaply! Sell value! (Japanese only)" is written for those who want to increase sales by doing "selling value" instead of selling cheaply.

The interesting part of this book was "There are no products for sale, but there are just ways to sell".

"Everything is marketing" is the common phrase in business administration, and this material seems to say the same thing.

This book is recommended for sales representatives who want to increase your sales performance, and for business owners who are experiencing low sales results.

P.S. If you set the price of your own product higher, some customers will negotiate a discount.

The response here is the management decision itself, and in my case, I had a policy not discounting the price at all.

This is because I thought that if I accepts a discount with one business partner, another business partner may ask for a discount based on the theory that "I heard that the other company bought your product with a discount".

The owners of small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies have strong horizontal ties, so it is better to think that various things are commonly shared.
