【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,024「予約できない会議室」】
最近は、企業が使っていない会議室をレンタルするサービスが流行っています。
特に、早朝や深夜は、ほとんどの会社の会議室が使われていません（当たり前だけれど😊)。
そのため、格安で駅前のビルの会議室が借りられるサービスなども始まっており、空きスペースの有効活用が可能になっています。
シェアリング・エコノミーの拡大が会議室にまで押し寄せており、一生賃貸派の私としては、もっといろいろなものがレンタルされるといいなと考えています。
職場によっては、会議室がなかなか予約できずに困っている人がいるようです。
私が以前いた銀行という世界は、会議が多い業種でした。
また、会議室を予約するための社内システムが古くて、使いにくいことも非効率な要因だったと考えています

P.S. 私が自営を始めてみて良かったことの一つに、会議がないことがあります（それはそうだろう😊)。
会議に加えて、自営の場合は稟議もありません（そらそうよ😊)。
会議の存在や稟議のあり方に疑問を感じている人は、自分でビジネスを始めてしまうという選択肢を考えると良いかもしれませんね。
会議を短くする方法として、立ったまま議論をすることがあります。
立ったままで30分以上議論をすることはチャレンジングであるため、会議を短くすることができますよ😊。
＜Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「予約する」=「book」＞
今回出てきた「（会議室などを）予約する」の英訳は、「book」になります。
「予約できない会議室」を英語にする場合、「Meeting rooms that cannot be booked」とすればよいですね😊。
本日は、映画「ハスラーズ」を紹介します。
映画「ハスラーズ」は、2008年にアメリカで発生した金融危機を受けて、打撃を受けた風俗産業の生々しい姿を描いています。
30代のシングルマザーであるデスティニー（コンスタンス・ウー）は、生活費を稼ぐためにストリッパーになったが、思うように稼げずにいました。
デスティニーたちは、「真面目に働いても自分たちは生活が苦しいのに、経済危機を引き起こしたウォール街の男たちがどうして豊かな暮らしをしているのか」と不満を募らせるようになります。
やがて、デスティニーたちは古参のラモーナ（ジェニファー・ロペス）をまとめ役にして、泥酔した金持ちの客のクレジットカードを不正に使用するという犯罪に手を染めるようになります。
この犯行は当初上手くいきましたが、警察の捜査が近づいていくのでした。
2008年の金融危機について、私自身も影響を受けましたが、他の業界の人達の生活を描いた映画を鑑賞したのは初めてでした。
ダンス映画が好きな人にとっても、映画「ハスラーズ」はお勧めの作品です。
