PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 1,027 "Digital Fax"】

The material introduced today "42 faxes from President of Nidec Corporation (Japanese only)" is about the chairman of Nidec Corporation, Mr. Nagamori, who is famous for making large donations.

Faxes are rarely seen in the private business scene, but faxes are still used in various situations in Japanese society.

Mr. Nagamori is famous for not taking holidays except on the morning of New Year's Day.

Recently, it seems that digital fax services that send and receive information using the mail function are popular.

Papers won't jam with digital fax, and you don't need to pay for paper or toner, so it seems very convenient😊.

I used to utilize paper faxes a lot when I started working over 20 years ago.

The contents of this book have nothing to do with digital fax, but it is recommended for anyone who wants to be a manager😊.

P.S. Several Japanese restaurants still use fax instead of email or messenger.

The reason is simple: if you fax, you can touch the paper that comes out with your wet hands.

The Questionnaire, which is the process by which members of the Diet send questions, is faxed to government offices in Japan.

Unlike restaurants, Japanese government offices don't have to use fax at all, so I think it's better to change the method early 😊.

In the United States and Europe, fax is already a product of the past.

However, it seems that Japanese society, where fax machines are still used, has taken a heavy stance toward IT due to the new corona turmoil.

Just as the plague gave birth to the Renaissance in Europe, it depends on our actions whether corona will give birth to new civilizations and discoveries in Japan 😊.
