【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,115「肩書を気にしない」】
自営を始めて良かったことの一つに、「肩書を気にしなくなる」ことがあります（銀行は、もの凄い「肩書組織」でした🏦）。
当たり前ですが、自営の場合は「○○部門長」や「シニア・バイス・プレジデント」などの肩書はありません（「代表」にはなれますけどね、1人だけど😊)。
今回紹介する資料「脱! 暴走老人 英国に学ぶ「成熟社会」のシニアライフ」は「なぜヨーロッパの老人は暴走しないのか？」という命題を分析しており、欧州の高齢者をめぐる7つ「いいね！」として以下をあげています。
1. 「成熟社会」は老人が過ごせる場所が多い
2. いくつになっても恋愛やファッションを楽しむ
3. 「認知症でもこんなこともできる」と発想する
4. 高齢者を代表する団体がたくさんある
5. シルバーのボランティアが盛ん
6. 特技を生かして収入に
7. 普段は節約、楽しいことにはお金をどーんと使う

私がフランスで学生に戻っていた頃、確かに上記7つを謳歌している高齢者をよく目にしたような気がします。
国や地域によって考え方は違いますが、フランスの場合は週35時間労働制（！）が採用されていることもあり、「人生を楽しむために仕事をする」スタンスの人が多かったように感じています（ただ、一部のビジネスパーソンはもの凄い働き方をしていましたが :-)。
また、海外では紙の名刺を使わないようになっており、肩書を気にしない傾向が強まっていますが、本書の以下部分は印象的でした。
「人間は思った以上に自分や他人の肩書や外見にとらわれています。
それをやめてしまえば、気持ちがとても自由になれますし、人の本質が見えてきます。」（引用終わり）

P.S. ニューヨークで働いていた時、ある食事会でベンチャー・キャピタリストの方に偶然会ったのですが、世界的に有名な人であることを後から知りました。
後日、自分の無知をメールで伝えると、その方から「肩書とか名声はどうでもいいよ。仕事の結果だけを見て評価してください」という返事がありました😊。
＜Mr. PDCA のボンジュール英単語「認知症」=「dementia」＞
英語ニュースでも認知症の新薬開発等が取り上げられることがあり、「dementia（認知症）」という単語をよく耳にするようになっています。
「認知症予防策が、世界中で議論されている」を英語で言う場合は、「Preventive measures for dementia have been discussed all over the world」という感じでしょうか（もっと良い訳があれば教えてください😊)。
＜マドモアゼルPDCAのメルシー映画「りゅうおうのおしごと！」＞
本日は、アニメ「りゅうおうのおしごと！」を紹介します。
「りゅうおうのおしごと！」の原作は小説ですが、漫画も面白かったですね。
アニメ「りゅうおうのおしごと！」のヒロインは、小学3年生の雛鶴（ひなつる）あいです。
雛鶴 あいは、竜王である九頭竜 八一（くずりゅう やいち） に憧れて、両親の承諾を取ることなく石川県から単身で八一のもとにやってきます。
アニメ「りゅうおうのおしごと！」の第一話（第一局）は、タイトルの通り「押しかけ弟子」で、私が現在やっている飛び込み営業に近い意気込みを感じます。
不思議なものですが、アグレッシブな人は好意を持たれる傾向にあります。
消極的に生きるよりも、積極的に人に接する方がチャンスが多くなるということですね。
その観点からしても、アニメ「りゅうおうのおしごと！」のヒロインである雛鶴 あいの生き方は、共感が持てますね。

1. "Mature Society (Europe)" has many places where elderly people can spend
2. Enjoy romance and fashion no matter how old you are
3. Conceive that many things can be done even you become dementia
4. There are many groups representing elderly people
5. Volunteer activities of elderly people are being carried out actively
6. Make the best use of special skill and lead to income
7. Normally save money and have fun using what you need to spend

When I was returning to a student in France, I often saw the elderly people who were enjoying the above seven points.
The way of thinking differs depending on the country and region, but in the case of France, the 35 hour weekly labor system is adopted, and I feel that people are working to enjoy life.
When we go outside of Japan, paper business cards are not gradually used, and the tendency not to care about corporate titles is intensifying, and the following part of this book was impressive.
"People tend to be trapped by the corporate titles and appearances of themselves.
Once we stop escaping from this trap, we can be very free from traditional authoritarian values." (Unquote)

P.S. When I worked in New York, I saw one venture capitalist at a dinner party, but I learned later that he was a very famous figure in the world.
When I expressed my ignorance by e-mail to him, he swiftly responded by saying that, "I do not care about my corporate title or fame. Please evaluate me only by the results of my work".
I wish more and more professionals in overseas offices would become members or followers of the below project for the smooth communication😊.
