余り知られていませんが、私は結構な数の物件に住んできた引っ越しマニアです。
「習うより慣れろ」とはよく言ったもので、今では引っ越しのコツのようなものを身につけたような気がします。
マンションなどの集合住宅の場合、住人間で挨拶が行われているところでは、騒音などの問題が発生しにくいように感じています。
逆に挨拶をしない人が多いマンションでは、色々なご近所トラブルがあちこちで起こっていたような気がしますね。
今回紹介する資料「このゴミは収集できません」は、「ゴミ清掃員が見たあり得ない光景」を解説しており、「ゴミ集積所が汚い場所は治安が悪い」部分の以下フレーズが印象的でした。

P.S. 今回紹介した資料「このゴミは収集できません」は「治安の悪い地域の集積所は不思議と汚い」と解説していますが、実は企業にも同じことが言えます。
コンサルタントとして複数のオフィスにお邪魔していた私からすると、「業績の悪い会社のゴミ捨て場は不思議と汚い」と感じているからです。
業績の良い会社ではモラルや士気が高いことが多く、オフィス内にゴミが落ちていたらスタッフが拾い、ゴミ捨て場が荒れる確率が低くなります。
一方、財務のチャレンジを抱えている企業では、オフィスやトイレが汚れており、ゴミ捨て場も分別がなされておらず、荒れ放題ということが結構あります。
この法則は取引先だけではなく、就職や転職を考えている人でも応用かのうであるため、入社を検討している会社がある場合、オフィスやトイレの清掃状態をチェックすると良いでしょう。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「ゴミ」 = 「garbage」＞
今回出てきた「ゴミ」の英訳は、「garbage」になります。
「まずゴミ集積所を見る」を英語で表現する場合、「First look at the garbage collection point」とすればよいですね😊。

When you try to find a new house, I believe this principle applies anywhere in the world.
This may seem surprising, but the same is true for corporate organizations.
As a consultant, I have been visiting multiple offices, and I feel that the garbage dumps of poorly performing companies are strangely dirty.
Companies with good performance often have high morale and the employees are well educated.
If there is garbage in the office at an excellent company, the staff will pick it up and the probability that the garbage dump will be ruined is low.
On the other hand, in companies that have financial challenges, offices and toilets are dirty, garbage dumps are not sorted.
This rule applies not only to business partners but also to those who are thinking of finding a job or changing jobs.
Therefore, in case you have a company that is considering joining, it is a good idea to check the cleaning status of its office or toilet.
As I introduced in the past PDCA diary, military personnel always polish their equipment and shoes to make them shiny.
They know that doing so will reduce mistakes and increase their chances of survival.
