PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 1,265 "Many presidents are vulnerable to finance"

The material introduced today "Intellectual Property Strategy 2.0 for SMEs (Japanese only)" has stated that "The conventional Japanese management model cannot maintain the management of SMEs," and the following phrases were impressive in the part "Many presidents are vulnerable to finance".

"While hearing about the president of a small and medium-sized enterprise, it is often the case that they say, 'I don't know anything about finance.'

'The president doesn't know about money' means 'When the company was about to start something, it couldn't decide how much money for the project and how to allocate'.

First of all, be sure to get an overall picture of how much money you have in your company, how much profit the company is making, and how its monthly cash flows." (Unquote)

P.S. Recently, even large Japanese companies are increasingly hiring external executives called "professional managers."

I take this trend positively in Japan, and more Japanese companies should utilize professional managers, I suppose.

When a professional manager comes in from the outside, the first thing to start is to understand finance and human resources.

Professional managers often call business persons they know as CFOs or HR managers from the outside.

By controlling finance and human resources, they can take control of the entire company.

If you want to become a business owner, it's a good idea to start by looking at the financial statements of various companies posted on the web.

It will be useful later to understand the outline of the balance sheet and income statement, and to do image training when you become a manager 😊.
