PDCA日記 Vol. 2,282「勝とうとすると失点まみれ」
このブログは金融の話題が多いせいか、株価が下がると連絡してくる人がいます。
損失が発生している人の話を聞くと、個別株を買ったり、アクティブ投信を保有しているケースが多いです。
私のお勧めは、インデックス投資です。
人間は感情の生き物であり、短期的な金融市場の上下に気持ちが動かされます。
インデックス投資のよいところは、感情を消す（？）ことができる点です。
可処分所得が月2万円の場合、20営業日で割って、毎日千円をS&P500のインデックス投信に投資しましょう。
ここでのポイントは上がろうと下がろうと、10年間買い続ける点です。
私の周りで、これを10年以上継続している人を見たことがありません。
誰でもできることですが、誰もやっていないことをやることが利益を出すポイントになります。
今回紹介する資料「敗者のゲーム」は、以下のフレーズが印象的でした。
「毎年3分の1のアクティブ・マネージャーしかインデックスに勝てない。
さらに、1年間勝ったアクティブ・マネージャーでも、翌年も勝てている人は、ほとんどいない。
15年間のプロのマネージャーの成績を見ると、90%はインデックス投資に及ばない。
さらに、買っているマネージャーの成績も時間とともに確実に低下する。
このため、儲けようとしてアクティブに売買すると、敗者のゲームとなる。」（引用終わり）

重要なことは、下落局面でこそ投資を続けることです。
今年4月の関税騒動で、損失を受けた人の多くは投資をやめました。
彼ら、彼女らは永遠に金融市場に戻ってこない可能性が高いです。
4月に毎日インデックス投資を続けていた人はご存じだと思いますが、現在は大きな利益になっています。
始めることが大切で、今日から100円ずつでもよいのでインデックスに投資しましょう。
ビジネスでもそうですが、始めることと続けることが一番重要で、難しいことですね😊

＜ 本日のボンジュール英語「失点する」 = 「concede a goal」＞
今回出てきた「失点する」の英訳は、「concede a goal」になります。
「勝とうとすると失点まみれ」を英語で表現する場合、「When we try to win, we end up conceding goals」とすればよいですね😊
Perhaps because this blog often discusses finance, people contact me when stock prices fall.
When I talk to people who have suffered losses, it's often because they bought individual stocks or held active investment trusts.
My recommendation is index investing.
Humans are emotional creatures, and our feelings are swayed by short-term market ups and downs.
The good thing about index investing is that it allows you to erase your emotions.
If your disposable income is $200, divide that by 20 business days and invest $10 every day in an S&P 500 index investment trust.
The key here is to keep buying for 10 years, whether the market is up or down.
I've never seen anyone around me who has done this for more than 10 years.
Anyone can do it, but the key to making a profit is to do something that no one else is doing.
The following phrases in the book introduced today, "Winning the Loser's Game," struck me.
"Only one-third of active managers beat the index each year.
Furthermore, few active managers who win one year are able to win again the following year.
Looking at the performance of professional managers over a 15-year period, 90% fall short of index investing.
Furthermore, the performance of managers who invest steadily declines over time.
For this reason, actively buying and selling in an attempt to make a profit becomes a loser's game." (Unquote)

The key is to continue investing, especially during downturns.
Many people who suffered losses during the tariff uproar in April of this year stopped investing.
They are likely never to return to the financial markets.
Those who invested in index funds every day in April probably know this, but they are now making significant profits.
Getting started is important, so start investing in index funds, even if it's just 100 yen at a time.
As in business, getting started and continuing are the most important, and difficult, things😊
