【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,748「楽しくできることが大事」】
先日のPDCAカフェで、「どうすれば仕事を楽しむことができるのか？」という質問を受けました。
私からは、「楽しくないと感じている要素をなくすことで、楽しくなるのではないでしょうか」と回答しました。
今回紹介する資料「仕事と人生」は、「成功法則の金字塔」をキャッチフレーズにしており、「仕事と人生でいちばん大切なこと」部分の以下フレーズが印象的でした。
「仕事と人生で大きな結果を出すには、無理をしないといけない。
日本では、こういう考え方がまだまだ根強い。
でも、本当はそうじゃないんだ。
大きな目標も、辛い努力もいらない。
自分にとって楽しくできることこそ、大事なんだよ。
『好き』がいっぱいあればあるほど、人生は楽しくなるから。
『使命』は大げさな夢や目標じゃなくていい。
楽しいことが『使命』なんだよ。」（引用終わり）

P.S. 今回紹介した資料「仕事と人生」の中で、「『好き』がいっぱいあればあるほど、人生は楽しくなる」という部分が、日本のビジネス界で必要だと感じています。
非効率なスーツを着て、満員電車に揺られて長時間働き続けることに疑問を感じている人は、違う働き方を模索するべきかもしれません。
今はインターネットがあるため、本当に色々なことができます。
「好きを見つける」方法は、「嫌いをなくす」ことなのかもしれませんよ😊。
PDCAカフェに来る方々の多くは真面目であり、「どうすれ夢をかなえることができるか？」というテーマについて語り合うこともあります。
私の場合、自分の望む方向で仕事をし、趣味と遊びの境界線が微妙になっているため、「夢をかなえたかどうか」については不明な点があります。
ただ、私が「明るく楽しく日々を過ごせている」ことは確かでしょう。
PDCAカフェの参加者の何人かは、「Mr. PDCAは夢をかなえているように見えます」とコメントされることがあります。
「クランボルツに学ぶ夢のあきらめ方」という本は、「夢はあきらめるべきものであり、だからこそかなうものである」をキャッチフレーズにしており、「夢はけっこうかなう、という事実」部分の以下のフレーズで以下のように述べています。
「『冒険』して、『持続』してなおかつ『柔軟』で『好奇心』を維持し続けられたから、当然の帰結として（成功を）手に入れたということ。
この下部構造があるからこそ、『機会』と『コネ』は生まれる。」（引用終わり）
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「使命」=「mission」＞
今回出てきた「使命」の英訳は、「mission」になります。
「使命は大げさな夢や目標じゃなくていい」を英語にする場合、「Your mission doesn't have to be an exaggerated dream or goal」とすればよいですね😊。
The other day at the PDCA cafe, I was asked the question “How can we enjoy our work?”
I replied that “I think it will be fun by eliminating the elements that you feel are not fun”.
The material to be introduced today “Work & Life (Japanese only)” has a catchphrase “The pyramid of the law of success” and the following phrases were impressive in the part of “The most important thing in work and life”.
“To get great results in work and life, it is important to have fun.
There is no need for big goals or hard work.
What you can do for yourself is important.
The more you like, the more fun your life will be.
Mission does not have to be an exaggerated dream or goal.
Having fun is the mission.” (Unquote)

P.S. In the material introduced today "Work and Life", I feel that the part "The more you do what you like, the more enjoyable your life would" is necessary in the Japanese business world.
If you're wearing an inefficient suit and commuting on a crowded train and working long hours in the office, you might want to look for a different way of working😊.
Now that we have the internet, we can really do a lot of things by ourselves.
The best and the easiest way to find what you like might be to get rid of what you dislikes in front of you and in your daily life 😊.
