【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,916「性格は環境で決まる？」】
私は最初の仕事が銀行員だったのですが、銀行で働いて唯一良かったこと（？）は、「スピードがチャレンジを克服する」という雰囲気が流れていたことです。
私は現在IT業界にいるのですが、「細かい」と言われることがあります。
銀行で働いて2つ目に良かったこと（？）は、「チェック機能が重要」という意識を全員が持っていたことです。
IT業界は金融界ほど規制が厳しくないため、「チェック機能」や「牽制」という単語を耳にする機会が少ないです。
このブログもそうですが、私はメールやチャットの文章でもミススペルをしないよう意識しています。
「小さな問題が大きな問題を引き起こす」というジュリアーニ元ニューヨーク市長の「割れ窓理論」にならっているわけですね。
今回紹介する資料「孤独な群衆」は個人と社会、時代との関わりを論じた不朽の名著です。
人間の性格は先天的なものと考えられがちですが、「孤独な群衆」は「環境が決める」と主張しています。
「九条の大罪」という弁護士漫画の中でも、環境の重要性に関する以下フレーズがありました。
「ちゃんとした人の周りにはちゃんとした人が集まる。
よくない人間にはよりよくない人間が集まり、よりよくない空気を撒き散らす」（引用終わり）

P.S. 良い人たちに囲まれて生活を送ることが重要ということですが、私にとっての転換期はビジネススクールでの日々でしたね。
ビジネススクールはこの世で最も幸せな空間であり、不思議なもので、フランスでの留学を終えてから私に良いことが起こるようになりました。
私の能力が劇的に上がったわけではなく、ビジネススクール前と後との違いは、たった一つです。
人生に対して後ろ向きであるか、前向きであるかということですね。
日々を笑顔で過ごすだけで、良いこと引き寄せることができます。
私がその証明ですので、チャレンジングな日々にお悩みの方は周りと笑顔で接しているか確認してみましょう。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「空間」 = 「place」＞
今回出てきた「空間」の英訳は、「place」になります。
「ビジネススクールはこの世で最も幸せな空間である」を英語で表現する場合、「Business school is the happiest place in the world」とすればよいですね😊。
My first employer was a bank, and the only good thing (?) in working at a bank was the atmosphere of "speed overcomes challenges."
I am currently in the IT industry, and I am sometimes referred to as a "fine business person".
The second good thing about working at a bank (?) was that everyone was aware of the importance of checking functions.
The IT industry is less regulated than the financial industry, so we rarely hear the words "checking function".
As with this posting, I try not to make any spelling mistakes in my emails and chats.
Former New York City Mayor Giuliani's "Broken Window Theory" states that "small problems lead to big problems" and I am referring to his theory.
The material introduced today, "The Lonely Crowd," is a masterpiece that discusses the relationship between individuals, society, and the times.
Human character is often thought to be innate, but the "The Lonely Crowd" argues that ”environment determines''.
It is quite important to surround yourself with good people, but the turning point for me was my days at business school in France.
It is very interesting to see, but good things started happening to me after I went back to Japan from France in April 2011.
There is only one difference between before and after business school in my view.
After graduating from business school in France, I became positive in life.
There is no change in my own ability, but my positive attitude has brought good career opportunities.
Just by changing the way you think, you can dramatically improve your private life and business.
I am the proof😊.
