< Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「会話が弾む」=「have a nice chat」>

今回出てきた「会話が弾む」の英訳は幾つか候補がありますが、「have a nice chat」が一つの表現方法になります。

「新しい取引先と会話が弾み、次のプロジェクトを検討してもらえることになった」を英語にする場合、「We had a nice chat with a new business partner and they would consider the next project」とすればよいですね :-)。

PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 1,350 "Is anything OK in chatting?"】

Recently, books related to chatting are increasing, and there are various ways of thoughts about chatting depending on the company.

In general, when I was working in a traditional large company, there were cases where chatting were stopped by seniors by being pointed out that “You should stop chatting and go back to work”.

On the other hand, there were some venture companies that the management has told the staff to chat more and more.

The material to be introduced today “Chatting methods for shy people (Japanese only)” explains “40 rules that don't make it difficult to chat with others” and the following phrases were impressive.

“When you thought of 'I would chat', what should you start with?

As a general rule, anything is OK in chatting.

However, since the purpose of chatting is to create a relationship with others, you should choose the topic which others also be can get on." (Unquote)
