PDCA日記 Vol. 1,980「撤退がネガティヴだから考えられない？」
このブログでは、撤退がテーマになることがあります。
豊臣秀吉やナポレオンのような軍事の天才であっても、撤退できずに大敗を喫することがありました。
普通の人間にとって、撤退は非常に難しいものです。
多くの場合、「自分は失敗しない」「まだ大丈夫」という楽観的な考えを持ち（無意識の内に）、破局まで進むことになります。
人間は見たくないものを見ない、いわゆる確証バイアスの罠に陥ってしまうということですね。
今回紹介する資料「撤退学宣」は「ホモ・サピエンスよ、その名に値するまであと一歩だ」をキャッチフレーズにしており、以下のフレーズが印象的でした。
「人間はなぜ慣性から逃れられず、破局へと至るのか。
その理由の1つとして、『人間は、なぜ慣性から逃れられず、破局へと至るのか』という問いを、考えてこなかったことがある。

今回出てきた「考えられない」の英訳は、「unthinkable」になります。
