「Our American Dream "Let's build together."」

PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 1,122 "Management skills will be acquired afterwards"

When I went back to school in France, the professors frequently said that "Managers will be raised, so we are raising you!"

To tell you the truth, I was very doubtful about what they said at that time (Sorry!), but some of my friends those who studied in France together started to succeed as an executive after 9 years have passed since graduation (← Mr. PDCA will be convinced with evidencing😊.

The material to be introduced today "Raising executives who are now managers (Japanese only)" is a book that extracts necessary skills for leadership based on discussions with real CEO.

At the same time, this book is explaining the competitive strategy in an easy-to-understand way.

What was impressive in this book is a part that states "Management skills will be acquired afterwards and excellent managers have management skill sets".

I am such a business person who takes a step backward and looks at things and is pursuing procedures according to the order.

In case of large companies, both powerful leader and cool managers are necessary to promote a big project

However, I think that persistence is indispensable for both types of business persons😊.

Let's function PDCA today!

As I introduced in the previous PDCA diary, Honda began local production of four-wheel vehicles in the 1970s in the United States, and now it is about to reach a share of 10%.

However, building a factory in Ohio from a scratch must be tougher than we think and Honda people who went through these challenging situations are saying that "No one expected our success, but we succeeded as we continued until we succeeded".

Although it may seem easy to hear " We succeeded as we continued until we succeeded," Honda has a "persistent persistence" to raise the market share in the United States to nearly 10% from nothing of Ohio It can be said that because it was.

(Honda's secret story in the United States can be confirmed in the below URL. The contents must be helpful when Japanese companies start operations overseas. I like the advertisement of "Our American Dream: Let's build together." with a picture😊.)
