PDCAカフェでは、投資の話になることがあります。
一応（？）、私は金融業界出身ですが、一貫して「買う人が多ければ上がり、売る人が多ければ下がる」という当たり前のことをお伝えしています。
今回紹介する資料「図解 「ザ・マネーゲーム」から脱出する法」は、「勝てないゲームから自由になるための刺激的な戦略」をキャッチフレーズにしており、以下のフレーズが印象的でした。
「『マネーゲーム』とは、お金というモンスターに脅かされ続ける、不毛なゲームです。
『マネーゲーム』には、次のようなルールがあります。
・勝敗のルールがない。勝者がいない。
・ゲームオーバーがない。死ぬまで続く。
・ルールは流動的。明確なルールがない。
・勝っていても負けていても、幸せではない。」（引用終わり）

P.S. 今回紹介した資料「図解 「ザ・マネーゲーム」から脱出する法」が、マネーゲームについて、「ルールは流動的。明確なルールがない」と述べているのは、色々な意味で示唆に富んでいます。
私がニューヨークで証券外務員の試験を受けるため、研修を受けたのですが、そこで講師が以下のようなことを言っていました。
「金融取引で利益を出す要因は3つである。運、偶然、インサイダーだ。」（講師コメント終わり）
この影響かどうか不明ですが、私は金融取引を行っておりません :-)。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「不毛」=「barren」＞
今回出てきた「不毛」の英訳は、「barren」になります。
「マネーゲームは不毛であるため、他に収益を上げる手法を見つけるべきである」を英語にする場合、「Money games are barren, so you should find other ways to make money」とすればよいですね :-)。

I'm from the financial industry, but I've consistently told you that “If more people buy certain products, prices will go up and if more people sell them, prices will go down”.
The material to be introduced today “Illustration from The Money Game (Japanese only)” has the catch phrase of “Exciting strategy to free the money game that cannot be won" and the following phrases were impressive.
“Money games are barren that continue to be threatened by the monster of money.
Money Games have the following rules.
・ There are no rules for winning or losing. There is no winner.
・ There is no game over. You have to continue until you die.
・ Rules are fluid. There are no clear rules.
・ You will not be happy where you win or lose." (Unquote)
