【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,554「試してみることに失敗はない」】
PDCAカフェでよく耳にする言葉として、「新しいことを始めてみたいが、不安が大きくてできない」ということがあります。
今回紹介する資料「仕事は楽しいかね？」は、「どんな仕事も楽しくなる！」をキャッチフレーズにしており、「試してみることに失敗はない」部分の以下フレーズが印象的でした。
「退屈と不安の両方を抱えたまま時間だけが過ぎていくのです。
しかも時を重ねれば重ねるほど、不安は増し、退屈から逃れることは難しくなります。
それまでに重ねた時間が長ければ長いほど、元の流れに戻ろうとする力は強くなります。

P.S. 同じ仕事を続けていると、本書が述べている通り、退屈から逃れることは難しくなります。
これを避ける方法として、営業、総務、人事、広報などの専門性はそのままにしておいて、業界を変えることがあります。
金融機関からIT企業、食品会社からメーカーなどが例になりますが、業界をずらすことによって、「知っている人がほとんどいない」状況になるため、大きなリフレッシュ感を得られます。
金融機関で人事の仕事をしていた人が、メーカーで人事業務を行うことはできるはずです。
これは有効な方法なのですが、実行している人は少数のため、かなりお勧めです😊。
＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「失敗」 = 「failure」＞
今回出てきた「失敗」の英訳は、「failure」となります。
「試してみることに失敗はない」を英語で表現する場合、「There is no failure to try」とすればよいですね😊。

One way to avoid this is to leave the expertise in sales, general affairs, affairs, public relations, etc., and change the industry.
