【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,681「月謝を払えば入れた学校」】
今回紹介する資料「お金をかけずにモノを売る広報視点」は吉本興業の元広報責任者の実用本であり、以下のフレーズが印象的でした。
「（NCSの）面接ではネタは見ませんでした。
というか、まだプロになっていない時点でネタを見ても面白いわけないしょうし、もし面白かったらどこか他所で売れているでしょう。
では、何を基準に合格とするかといえば、月謝が払えるかどうかで判断することにしました。
入学金3万円、月謝1万5千円を6ヵ月分全納、合計12万円が払えれば合格でした。」（引用終わり）

吉本のお笑い養成学校「NSC」は有名ですが、本書を読んで「ニュー・スター・クリエーション」の略であることを初めて知りました。
ダウンタウンはNSC第一期生で、「月謝を払える」と面接でコメントしたため、合格したことが本書で触れられています。
「金の切れ目が縁の切れ目」という格言は、お笑いにも当てはまるということですかね。

＜ Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「縁の切れ目」 = 「edge cut」＞
今回出てきた「縁の切れ目」の英訳は、「edge cut」になります。
「金の切れ目が縁の切れ目」を英語で表現する場合、「The gold cut is the edge cut」とすればよいですね😊。
