「少人数で仕事をすることが鉄則である」を英語で表現する場合、「Working with a small number of people is the rule of thumb」とすればよいですね :-)。
The material introduced today "Browsing Caution Psychology (Japanese only)" has a catchphrase of "Anyone can manipulate others as you want!" and the following phrases were impressive in the part "Working with a small number of people is the rule of thumb".
"We know that the larger the population, the lower the efficiency of work.
This phenomenon was discovered by Maximilien Ringelmann in the early 20th century.
In his experiments, he made the victims tug-of-war and adjusted tug-of-war by one person, and adjusted how individuals exerted power depending on the number of participants: two, three, eight, etc.
Then, the power of the individual decreased in inverse proportion to the increase in the number of participants.
In other words, it turned out that working in a group is relatively inferior to individual effort than working alone.
From this experiment, we concluded that when performing group actions and working together, the larger the group, the more unwittingly it would be.
This is called social omission, or the Ringelmann effect, after the experimenter's name.
Because there are many people who work, helping people to think that they do not want to do troublesome work, such as 'Someone will do it without being serious', will weaken the power of one person.
To avoid this situation, keep the group small and identify where each individual is responsible.
If you are skipped, you will soon be exposed to others." (Unquote)
