【PDCA (plan-do-check-action) Diary Vol. 1 "Leaders are Influencers"】
Good morning everyone, I am Mr. PDCA.
This PDCA Diary started in 2018 in one place and I have been posted daily.
I was a student in France about 10 years ago in France, and one professor in the course of Leadership repeatedly said that "The true leader is the person who can influence the society in a positive way".
The material to be introduced today "The Textbook for Work (Japanese only)" has a catch phrase that "By reading this book, you can find world-class business skills" and the following phrase by Mr. Matsuo Iwata, former CEO of Starbucks Coffee Japan, was impressive.
"One of the definitions of a leader I (Mr. Iwata) like is that true leaders are the people who can influence others." (Unquote)
According to Mr. Iwata, even if you are not belonging to an organization, people who have influences to others can be leaders.
The book “Essentials of organizational behavior” defines leadership as the ability to influence groups to achieve their goals.
Let's function PDCA today!
