【PDCA日記 Vol. 708「看護師も会社員と同じ？」】
最近は、会社組織に所属しないフリーランスが人気になっています。
この傾向は会社員だけではないようで、看護師でも病院に所属しない人が出てきているようです。
人が一定数集まるところでは、何らかの病気や怪我が発生する可能性があります。
当然ながら、そこで応急処置を行ってくれる看護師のニーズが発生することになります。
病院は、企業以上に内部政治や人間関係が複雑らしく、歯医者などの場合、歯科衛生士が定期的に勤務先を変えることが一般的です。
また、伝統的な日本企業もびっくりのイベントなども病院にはあるようで、環境を変えようと転職に走るきっかけは、看護師も会社員も同じようです。
今回紹介する資料「フリー看護師のトリセツ: 野外ロックフェス、修学旅行、VIP対応、病院だけが職場じゃない！」は人間関係に疲れた看護師に限らず、自分でビジネスを始めたり、フリーランスとしてやっていきたいと考えている人におすすめの一冊です。
看護師ではありませんが、歯科医に勤務している歯科衛生士は転職が一般的であるようです。
専門学校を卒業して新卒の歯科衛生士として就職した人たちは、3ヵ月以内に3割程度退職するそうです。
民間企業の場合、新卒の3割が3年以内に退職しています。
民間企業と比較しても、歯科衛生士の退職率はかなり高めということですね。
歯科医の場合、どこで勤務しても同じような気がしますが、使っている医療機器や薬品などは違います。
そのため、民間企業に働くビジネスパーソンと同じで、歯科医に勤務する歯科衛生士も新しい職場に慣れるまで時間がかかったりするようです。
後は、上司である歯科医や同僚の歯科衛生士、助手などとの人間関係を構築する必要があり、これも民間企業と同じですね😊。
民間企業の場合、一番大きい退職理由は「上司との人間関係」ですが、これは歯科衛生士でも同じようですね。

P.S. フリーランスの利点としては、固定費がかからず、移動が最小限になることがあります。
つまり、自分の生活費以上の収益があれば、フリーランスは黒字を確保できることになります。
ややこしい稟議や大人数の会議などともフリーランスは無縁であるため、一度は試してみるとよいですね😊。
2019年のデータですが、アメリカにおける労働人口の35%がフリーランスで、日本は17%でアメリカの約半分になっています。
日本はアメリカのビジネスを後追いする傾向がありますので、日本のフリーランス人口は今後も増えていくことが予想されますね。
＜Mr. PDCAのボンジュール英語「フリーランス」=「freelance」＞
今回出てきた「フリーランス」の英訳は、「freelance」になります。
「彼はフリーランスである」を英語にする場合、「He is a freelance」とすればよいですね😊。

In case of dentists, it is common for dental hygienists to change their workplaces regularly.

Freelance and gigworkers are unrelated to complicated approvals processes and meetings with a large number of people, so it's a good idea to give it a try to start your own business by utilizing the internet 😊.
According to 2019 data, 35% of the working population in the United States is freelance or gigworkers, and Japan is 17%, which is about half that of the United States.
Japan tends to follow American business trends, so it is expected that Japan's freelance population will continue to grow.
