【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,037「インドの日焼け対策」】
最近、インド人の元同僚と話をする機会がありました。
日本ではあまり知られていませんが、インドでは肌の色が濃くない人ほど、社会的地位が高いと考えられる傾向が、現在でも残っているらしいです。
そのため、インドでは日焼け対策や美白効果のある方法がいろいろあるらしく、彼女の話はなかなか面白かったです😊。
今回紹介する資料「インド式ナチュラル美容マニュアル 集中美白・日焼け対策編」はイラスト入りで分かりやすく、読みやすい資料でした。
美白に興味のある人や、エステティックサロンなどで働いている人におすすめの一冊です。

P.S. 私が以前住んでいたフランスでは、日焼けしていることが「おしゃれ」という風潮が強かったですね。
日焼けをしているということは、バカンスを楽しむ経済的なゆとりがあり、南国で長期間日光を浴びることができる照明であるそうです。
私が通っていた学校には中庭があって、天気が良い日はフランス人の学生が「外でグループワークをしよう」と言い出すことがありました。
そのため、私は紫外線が降り注ぐ学校の中庭で、熱い議論をフランス人の友人たちと行っていたのでした（懐かしい！）。
一方、ルイ14世が活躍していた17世紀から18世紀にかけては、色の白さが社会的地位の高さを示していたそうです。
皆様もご覧になったことがあるルイ14世の写真を見ると、白いタイツをはいており、色が白いことを際立たせようとしています。
当時は、日焼けをしていないことが、「知的労働を行っていることの証左」であると考えられていたようです。
同じ国の同じ民族であっても、時代によって美意識が異なるのは興味深いですね😊。

今回出てきた「日焼け」の英訳は、「sunburn」になります。
「インドの日焼け対策」を英語にする場合、「Measures against sunburn in India」とすればよいですね😊。

本日は、ドラマ「とにかくアツく掃除しろ! ~恋した彼は潔癖王子! ?~ 」を紹介します。
ドラマ「とにかくアツく掃除しろ! ~恋した彼は潔癖王子! ?~ 」の主人公は、
オソルは就職活動にチャレンジを抱えており、アルバイト先の休憩室で「就職攻略本」
ハンサムでやり手のCEOであるソンギョルが大学生に対して、「そこがあなたの本当の居場所ですか？」と問いかけた際、オソルは「偉そうに」と反発します。
この後の展開は作品を鑑賞して頂きたいのですが、そう言えば私の知り合いにもホテル等のトイレを専門に掃除する会社の社長がいました。
この社長は、「トイレを掃除させてください！」とホテル等の宿泊施設に飛び込み営業を行い、結構な割合でビジネスを取って来ていました。
現在私自身、オンライン飛び込み営業を行っていますが、この社長のエネルギーを見習いたいですね😊。

Although it is not well known in Japan, it seems that people with lesser skin tone in India tend to be considered to have higher social status even today.
Therefore, there seemed to be various ways to prevent sunburn and whitening in India, which was quite interesting.
The material introduced today “Indian Natural Beauty Manual, Intensive Whitening / Sun Protection (Japanese only)” is worth reading with easy-to-read illustrations.
This book is recommended for those who are interested in whitening and those who work at beauty salons.

P.S. In France, where I used to live as a business school student, there was a strong tendency for sunburn to be "fashionable".
In France, being tanned means that you have the financial space to enjoy your vacation.
Therefore, it is a lighting that allows you to stay in the sun for a long time in a tropical country.
The business school I attended had a courtyard, and when the weather was nice, French students sometimes said, "Let's do group work outside".
At that time, I had a hot discussion with my French friends in the UV-lit school courtyard.
On the other hand, from the 17th century to the 18th century when Louis XIV was active in France, having white skin without being tanned was a high social status.
If you look at the pictures of Louis XIV that you have seen, you are wearing white tights to make the white color stand out.
At that time, it seems that not having a sunburn was considered to be "proof of intellectual labor."
It's interesting that even the same people in the same country have different aesthetics depending on the times 😊.
