金融機関などの面接を受けて内定が決まると、その後にバックグラウンド・チェックと呼ばれる信用情報などの確認調査があります。
外資系企業でバックグラウンド・チェックを行っていることが多いこともあって、この分野はアメリカやヨーロッパの業者が強くなっていますね。
日本では、「ファースト・アドバンテージ・ジャパン」などのバックグラウンド・チェック業者から調査を受けることが多いようです（実際、私も受けました）。

過去に自己破産などを行っている場合、このバックグラウンド・チェックに引っかかってしまい、内定は取り消され、その会社に入れなくなってしまうのです。
警備会社でも、似たようなバックグラウンド・チェックがあると聞いたことがあります。
クレジットカードやスマホ料金支払いの延滞があるだけでも、信用情報に傷がついてしまうので、金融機関志望の人は注意する方がいいでしょう。

P.S. バックグラウンド・チェックで確認される項目として、信用情報に加えて前職への在職確認などがあります。
私の場合であれば、前職の金融機関にバックグラウンド・チェック業者から電話が入り、「Mr. PDCAはXX年からXX年まで御社に所属していましたか？」という感じの確認が行われるのです。
「会社側はそんなことに回答するのか？」と思われるかもしれませんが、金融機関であればバックグラウンド・チェック業者の照会に対して回答しているケースが多いようです（特に、外資系金融機関😊）。
バックグラウンド・チェックに協力しない金融機関が多くなってしまうと、自分達がバックグラウンド・チェックを行う際、情報を取れなくなくなってしまうためです。
ただ、最近はバックグラウンド・チェックで確認されるのは在職期間だけになっているケースが多いようです。
以前は、前職の会社における評価結果なども確認していたようですが、この点については回答しない会社が増えてきています。
金融機関に限りませんが、外資系企業ではバックグラウンド・チェックを行っているところがほとんどであるため、素行に気をつけることが重要になりますね😊。

今回出てきた「素行」の英訳は、「conduct」になります。
「素行に気をつけよう」を英語にする場合、「Be careful of your own conduct」とすればよいですね😊。
本日は、堺雅人主演の映画「鍵泥棒のメソッド」 を紹介します。
小説版「鍵泥棒のメソッド」もあって、こちらも面白かったですね😊。
映画「鍵泥棒のメソッド」は、売れない役者である桜井武史（堺雅人）が凄腕の殺し屋であるコンドウ / 山崎信一郎（香川照之）と入れ替わるコメディ作品です。
桜井とコンドウは銭湯で入れ替わるのですが、役者と殺し屋が簡単に交代できるわけはなく、双方に無理が出てきます。
2人のやり取りの間に、出版社の編集長である水嶋香苗（広末涼子）が登場します。
映画「鍵泥棒のメソッド」では、劇団と殺し屋の仕事に加えて、出版社の業務についても色々な解説が行われています。
出版関係の仕事をしている人に、映画「鍵泥棒のメソッド」はお勧めの映画です😊。

日本に限りませんが、裏稼業の報酬は現金で払われることが多くなっています。
ただ、最近は身代金などの裏金は、ビットコインなどの暗号資産（仮想通貨）で支払われるケースが増えています。
暗号資産はマネーロンダリングに利用されることがあり、このことは以前から指摘されてきました。
各国の金融当局が暗号資産導入に及び腰である背景には、トラッキング（追跡）が困難であることがありますね😊。

When a job offer is provided after an interview from a financial institution, there is a background check.
If you were in a bankruptcy, your job offer will be canceled, and you will not be able to enter that company.
I've heard that security companies have similar background checks.
Even if there is a delay in payment of credit card or smartphone charges, credit information will be damaged, so it is better for people to be careful of their own conducts.

In my case, a background checker called the financial institution of my previous employer and asked, "Did Mr. PDCA belong to your company from XX to XX?"
You may be wondering, "Does the company answer that?"
It seems that many financial institutions respond to inquiries from background checkers (Especially foreign-affiliated companies😊).
This is because if many financial institutions do not cooperate with background checks, they will not be able to obtain information when they perform background checks.
However, recently, it seems that there are many cases where the background check confirms only the period of employment.
Previously, they also confirmed the evaluation results of the company in the previous employer, but an increasing number of companies do not answer this point.
