【PDCA日記 Vol. 1,175「困る一言投稿」】
私はTwitterを使っていますが、PDCA日記の紹介を目的にしています。
他の人のTwitterを見ていると、「移動中なう」などの意味のない投稿を見かけることがあります。
このような投稿を見ると、目的が不明確であり「？」と不思議に感じるものです。
今回紹介する資料「脱! SNSのトラブル」の著者も私と同じことを考えていたようで、「一言投稿」部分の以下フレーズが印象的でした。
「一言だけの投稿は、読む人を困らせる。
『これから食事です』『ひと休みなう』『コンビニに来ました』という行動を方向する一言投稿には、『あ、そう』としかコメントのしようがないからだ。
単なる独り言が友人たちのタイムラインのスペースをムダに占有している。
独り言ならば、SNSを使わずに自分一人でつぶやいていれば迷惑にならないのに、今どこにいるかを知ってもらいたいらしい。
日本人もオープンで社交的になったものだと感心するが、逆にSNSに自分の行動を記録として投稿していれば、万一、何かの事件の容疑者にされて、事情聴取を受けたときに、SNSへの投稿が自分のアリバイを証明して助けてくれる…なんてこともあるかもしれない。」（引用終わり）

今回出てきた「投稿」の英訳は、「posting」になります。
「一言の投稿は困る」を英語で表現する場合、「Posting a single word is a problem」とすればよいですね😊。

The material introduced today "Escape from SNS Trouble (Japanese only)" explains what I was thinking about SNS and the following phrases were impressive in the part "Posting a single word is a problem".
"Posting a single word is annoying to the reader.
A single word post that directs actions such as “I will have a meal from now”, “I will take a break” and “I came to a convenience store”.
Mere soliloquy wastes space on our timelines.
I am impressed that Japanese people are also open and sociable, but on the contrary, if you posted your actions on SNS as a record, by any chance you would be suspected of some incident and ask the situation.

P.S. It seems that there are cases where it is thought that not only posting by himself or herself, but also retweet SNS contributed to slander.
Since you can make a manifestation of intention with just one fingertip, SNS tends to be easy to operate.
However, it may have more effect than you imagine, so you are supposed to use it carefully 😊.
One reader once commented on this PDCA diary as "a blog that does not hurt anyone."
This is a nice comment and the best compliment for me 😊.
